Simplify distant collaboration tools

In the present version it’s difficult to set up compendium on a computer in order to collaborate with distant people.

Is it possible to simplify the set up, or to create a web based version of compendium that we could set up easily on a server (even mutualised) ?

Maybe it’s already possible but there is no tutorial available !
