I’d like to know what people use the list node for. When doing the Issue Mapping / Dialogue Mapping courses it was discouraged (probably because it didn’t really fit within that use scenario).
What I’d like to see is that the List Node becomes more like a Map Node but with specific rules around it. I’ve just added https://compendiumng.org/suggestions/allow-map-nodes-to-define-the-ontology where I’ve suggested using the Map Node as the basis for the Ontology / Icons / Layout rules / etc… what I’d love to see is the List Node altered so that it becomes a Map Node with a Layout rule (i.e. vertical + date sort).
That would give it extra layout flexibility, and remove the restrictions.
