Unable to link nodes in OSX Mavericks

After upgrading to Mavericks I was unable to link nodes using the, mouse or the trackpad, or a graphics tablet. Attempting to do so only let me drag nodes but no linking arrow appeared.

Also there seems no way to raise a bug on this site.

I like compendium but if this is not fixed I will have to move to something else.
