experience installing on win 7

The jar installer worked fine for me on win 7, but getting the installer to run in the first place is very sensitive to the java settings. I had to make sure no legacy java versions were present, check that the file associations were correct, and make sure the registry didn’t have any old java file associations. Only then would double clicking open the installer.

My installation was fluent also. Works fine with 7th and 8th oracle Java.
