confusion about installer

is this installer or just extractor? why to have portable I need to install firstly?

some times when I dive into poorly documented open source projects feel the same confusion – where is portable version, how to use that, what will happen (what will be changed in file structure) after istallation.

Thanks for your feedback. I think it is a good idea to have a detailed description of the installation process, especially the stand alone version. We have created an issue for this on GitHub and will try to get this up and running for the next release.
